Delta is running a flash sale for economy class travel to Europe, with flights from 26,000 SkyMiles round trip. While we often see fall airfares drop to the low $300’s from places like New York and Boston, this flash sale could be particularly good for those based in other parts of the country where fares are often much higher.

Quick Thoughts
The details on this deal vary by city, so it’s best to just plug in your city pairs and use the flexible dates booking calendar to see up to 5 weeks of availability at a time.
When Delta runs flash sales, they often discount additional cities behind what is listed on the landing page — and sometimes you’ll even find better deals than those listed. However, you’ll only find the discounted prices when searching round trip. One-ways will not price at half the cost of a round trip.
Keep in mind that Delta is an Amex transfer partner, so it’s easy enough to top off your miles for a redemption — though, if you’re transferring over all of your miles, it may also be worth taking a look at your options with Iberia or even British Airways or Aer Lingus since there is currently a 40% transfer bonus to Avios. See our Complete Guide to Avios for more information on those programs.
However, if you’re SkyMiles rich, this could certainly be a good way to spend that balance down a bit.
H/T: Miles to Memories
off to Europe from CHA now thanks to this. 36k RT. thanks!
Man, it has been really frustrating on how few biz class sales we’ve seen with Delta. At this point, I basically consider skymiles only okay for domestic travel and economy across the pond. I just can’t and won’t pay over 200K round trip to Europe for biz. I used to be able to count on Europe biz sales…..
The fees are high on these deals – at least the ATL to LHR is.
Fees flying out of LHR are always high on every carrier. It’s a UK departure tax. Here’s a post about the most recent increases:

Starting at 40K from RDU to Milan, Frankfurt, Zurich, Munich. Might jump on 50K RDU-FCO as this is the best I’ve seen in 2 years and am overdue for some Spaghetti alla Carbonara!
