Yesterday Hilton announced that AutoCamp properties were now bookable through Hilton for both cash and points stays. To celebrate that launch, they’re also offering 1,000 bonus points per AutoCamp stay through August 12.
The Deal
- Earn 1,000 bonus Hilton Honors points when booking AutoCamp stays.
- Direct link to offer details.
Key Terms
- Expires August 12, 2024.
Quick Thoughts
Hilton often sells its points for 0.5cpp (cents per point), so that means you can often buy 1,000 points for $5. This AutoCamp promotion is therefore a little lackluster, but it’s always nice to get bonus points if you’d be booking a stay anyway.
There’s limited details about this promotion available. Hilton emailed loyalty program members yesterday to announce this offer, but the link to the offer terms and conditions just links to the Hilton/AutoCamp landing page, with no mention there about the promotion. It therefore doesn’t seem like registration is needed, while the wording makes it sound like you can earn 1,000 bonus points on more than one stay as the link above refers to earning 1,000 bonus points “for each stay.”
It’s also not clear if this offer is valid on both paid and award stays, or if you’ll only earn the bonus points on paid stays. I suspect it’s the former based on somewhat similar past Hilton promotions, but we’ve reached out to a rep to get confirmation on that and will update this post once we receive an answer. Update: We’ve received confirmation that you’ll earn the 1,000 bonus points on both paid and award stays.
FYI if staying at AutoCamp for Yosemite National Park the YART’S bus picks up there and will take you into the park.YART’S is very reasonable with many discounts plus by using the bus you pay zero park entry. And the schedule several pick up times
I wanted to stay at the Russian River / Guerneville location (Northern California) but all the Friday, Saturday and Sunday dates are sold out from mid June – mid November. Hopefully the other locations have better availability.
