Quick Thoughts
Sometimes, Dell offers varying cashback percentages based on what you’re buying, with things like laptops at the bottom of the pay scale. Not so on this, everything is giving 11x, including laptops, monitors and desktops.
Whatever you may consider purchasing, the increased rate here will be appealing given the timing. Those who have a Business Platinum card the with semi-annual Dell credit have until the end of December to use the second one, so earning a nice return while knocking it out will make for a nice pre-holiday treat.
Remember that there are currently Dell Amex Offers out that give $50 off of $250, $100 off of $500 or 10% up to $1000 cashback. You can use up to three different payments online at Dell, so even if one of those offers isn’t on your Business Platinum card, you can still take advantage of the Dell credit, the Amex offer AND Rakuten’s 11x at the same time by splitting tender.
15x today
But what to get anymore? Most of the third party stuff that folks would buy to flip isn’t sold anymore (most headphones), getting just 1 nest smoke alarm seems…silly?
We don’t know if this is credit is going to be refreshed next year correct? I wonder if others are at a loss how to utilize it?
Right now, even forcing it, I can only find maybe a few items to purchase, none of which I need at all – O385 sub and a ps5 controller dock.
I have multiple Business Platinum cards and use all of the credits to buy Dell laptops for various buying groups. There’s regular offers available from several of them. When you combine Amex offers, high portal rewards and the credits, it can be fairly profitable.
I just get Xmas gifts. Sound bars this year
I got an email from rakuten that lists Wednesday as del going to 15%
So may be worth waiting
I got the same email, going to wait until then.
