World of Hyatt launched a new promotion a few weeks ago giving double points on stays at Mr & Mrs Smith properties. This offer runs through December 24, so there’s still a couple of months to take advantage of the promo, but you do have to register for it first.
The Deal

Key Terms
- You must be a member of World of Hyatt in good standing and register for the promotion between October 1, 2024 and November 30, 2024 to participate.
- Only Eligible Stays at participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotels completed after registration and between October 1, 2024 and December 24, 2024 (“Promotion Period”) will count towards this promotion. All Eligible Stays must be completed by December 24, 2024.
- Beginning on your first Eligible Stay at a participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotel after registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive double points per Eligible Stay at participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotels. For a property to be participating in the promotion, it needs to be participating in World of Hyatt at the time of the member’s reservation and stay.
- All points awarded under this promotion are Bonus Points.
- Under this promotion, you will receive five (5) Bonus Points per eligible dollar spent on your Eligible Stay. This is in addition to the five (5) Base Points you would earn as your base earning.
- For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Stay” is defined as any stay where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award.
- Eligible Stays must be booked directly with Hyatt.
- Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion.
- You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of booking.
- Please allow two to three weeks after checkout for Bonus Points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account.
Quick Thoughts
This promotion will be most rewarding when booking paid stays at Mr & Mrs Smith properties, but you’ll also earn double points on incremental spending at these properties on award stays. That said, redeeming Hyatt points for Mr & Mrs Smith stays is generally poor value due to the dynamic pricing used.
