Rite Aid is running an ad this week offering 300 Plenti points when you swipe your Green Dot card and reload at least $50 in a single transaction. Check your local ad to see if the promotion is running in your area.
300 Plenti points are worth $3 off other items purchased at Rite Aid (and other Plenti partners). In my experience you cannot use Plenti points to pay for reloads. Green Dot reloads cost $4.95.
Note that the ad states “Limit 1 offer per card”. “Card” in this context, I believe, means your Plenti card. It will be interesting to see if this limit is enforced.

Speaking of Rite-Aid, I’ve been in South America these past several weeks, but my Serve was somehow spared the bloodbath. Can you still load it with Visa debit at Rite-Aid?
Yes
Thanks. Hope springs eternal, as in, I’ll be returning in the spring.
Why is this mentioned in an ms blog? It’s a cash transaction since they won’t accept cc for GDot. Ms and cash don’t mix.
1) We write about lots of deals that have nothing to do with ms
2) In this case, the store in question does accept debit cards for payment, so it is relevant to ms
Thanks!
