Terms and Conditions
- To participate in the “Iberostar Beachfront Resorts 40K bonus points every 4 nights Promotion (the “Promotion”), an individual must have an active, valid IHG One Rewards member account, must register for the Promotion and book a stay at an Iberostar Beachfront Resort directly with IHG.
- Members can register for this Promotion starting July 22, 2025 through August 21, 2025 (the “Registration Period”) for stays between July 22, 2025 and January 18, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).
- After registering for the Promotion, a member can earn 40K bonus points after staying 4 Qualifying Room Nights at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts, and they can earn the 40K Promotion bonus points up to two times during the Promotion Period for a total of 80K bonus points.
- For purposes of this Promotion, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one (1) room night stay, during the Promotion Period, at an Iberostar Beachfront Resort booked under a Qualifying Rate that is at least a total spend of $30 dollars (or local currency equivalent) per night.
- Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion.
- Bookings made through on-line travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Promotion.
- Bookings made on Iberostar.com also do not qualify for this promotion.
- Members can earn the 40K bonus points every 4 nights Promotion up to two times during the Promotion Period, which ends January 18, 2026.
- Members will be eligible to earn their standard IHG One Rewards points (“base points”) as well as the Promotion bonus points, if they meet the requirements for the Promotion. For example, under the Promotion, for a four-night Qualifying Stay at Iberostar Beachfront Resorts with a room rate of $100.00, for a property with a 10 points per USD earn rate for base points, the member would be eligible to earn 4,000 base points (10 points x $400 = 4,000 points) and an additional 40,000 Promotion bonus points, for a total of 44,000 points. Not included in this calculation are any Elite status bonus points, any other bonus or promotional points, or Eligible Charges (as defined in the Membership Terms and Conditions) that the member may be eligible to receive for the same stay.
Quick Thoughts
This is an identical promotion that IHG ran for Iberostar Resorts last year, with the exception that this time it’s targeted. Stephen was able to register, but neither my nor I were.
40,000 bonus points for staying four nights at Iberostar properties is a very good return, especially considering it’s on top of all the other points and cashback you can earn when booking a stay. Even if you only value IHG points at 0.5 cents each, which is what they often sell for, that’s like a $50 rebate per night.
Let’s say you find a rate for $200 per night and book a four-night stay. Let’s also say you are registered for the ‘Stay 4 nights, earn 8,000 points‘ promo and have an IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card or IHG One Rewards Premier Business Credit Card. Here’s what you could earn:
- 8,000 points ($200 * 4 nights base points)
- 4,800 bonus points (from having Platinum status via the IHG Premier credit card)
- 8,000 bonus points (from the ‘Stay 4 nights, earn 8,000 bonus points promo)
- 40,000 bonus points (from this new Iberostar-specific promo)
- 8,000 bonus points (paying for the stay on an IHG Premier or Business credit card)
- Total = 68,800 IHG One Rewards points
If valued at 0.5cpp, 68,000 points is worth $344 – an excellent return on $800 of spend.

Hi Tim – Can this be used at any of their hotels? You mentioned all inclusive… the Miami ones are not all inclusive but they are listed as ‘beachfront resorts’ on their website.
