Hawaiian Airlines has announced that they’ve cut in half the requirements for 2022 elite status.  That means that in 2021, you can achieve elite status that will be good throughout the rest of 2021 and all of 2022 with half as many flights as usual:

  • Gold status usually requires 30 segments or 20,000 miles, but in 2021 you can earn Gold status with 15 segments or 10,000 miles
  • Platinum status usually requires 60 segments or 40,000 miles, but in 2021 you can earn Platinum status with 30 segments or 20,000 miles

Much more information can be found on Hawaiian Airlines’ website here.

Hat Tip: View from the Wing (p.s. I posted about mileage expiration separately)
