WOW Airlines is out with a great sale on flights from various cities in the US to Europe with prices from $89.99 one-way from many cities for summer travel in July/August. Return flights are always more expensive, but you could pair these with an award ticket home or a cheap flight on another carrier. These prices are also available into the fall.
Remember that WOW will charge you extra for everything from seat selection to bags. You’re allowed one personal item for free, but then it’ll cost you to check bags.
Still, if you can travel light, these are some great prices to get to Europe for summer travel (July and August dates).More city pairs are available – click here to look at all deals through this sale. Bottom Line
These are great prices for summer travel. If you can find award availability or a sale coming back from Europe, it’s hard to go wrong. I’ve flown WOW and found the experience to exceed that of the other budget carriers I’ve flown. I would definitely fly them again — certainly at these prices.
The “TO” Europe price of $89 is fantastic, but the return fares are not the same screaming bargain. The best I could find from London back to LA is $249.
That is amazing! I use Travelpointology Plans from Travelpointology.com to travel for free but this is a great offer that I would take advantage of even if its not the most comfortable.
Any idea how long this sale will last?
By the way, for people that actually want Iceland to be their destination, this provides an excellent Hidden City opportunity.
Also some great rates to be had on their “Biz” which is more like prem. economy but includes seat assignment, preboard, carry-on and checked bag.
[…] Frequent Miler, flights from Chicago start at ~$90 one-way. And from Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco, […]

My ranking is Norwegian, Level, and WOW a definite 3rd place. No in flight entertainment system on WOW is drag.
Good point on the lack of in-flight entertainment. I didn’t even think of that because I always download my own stuff pre-flight to watch on my devices if I’m looking for in-flight entertainment. The ability to download from Netflix has been a game-changer. But if prices were equal, I’d obviously want in-flight entertainment. I didn’t realize that Norwegian and Level had it. Thanks for bringing it up — I’ll mention that in future posts.
