Through 1/25, Garuda Indonesia is selling first and business class seats from London at a significant discount. Fly round trip in business class from London to Jakarta for $1759 or to Singapore for $1768 or round trip in first class from London to Singapore for $2944. While competitive premium cabin fares are becoming more common out of certain markets, discounts like these from a major market like London are less common. Additionally, these flights should earn between ~14,000-~25,000 miles when credited to one of a variety of popular airline programs such as ANA, Korean, Etihad, Flying Blue, or Delta.
No special code is necessary and flights appear to be bookable through the Garuda Indonesia website.

Sounds really tempting but I don’t want want to pull the trigger yet as I have a trip in three weeks and I have to get my passport renewed after that.
Is it a big deal to book a flight; particularly with Garuda, and then have to change your passport details? Is there a change fee involved for the ticket if I have to change my passport information?
Do they ask for your passport information during the booking process? I just went through a dummy booking and they didn’t ask me for it anywhere up to the screen where I would input CC information (I was on the mobile version of the site). I have booked quite a few international flights in the past few months and haven’t been asked for passport information to book any of them, but I haven’t personally booked with Garuda before. I would think you’re OK to book.
