SVM Gift Cards via eBay has a number of different gas gift cards on sale. Here are the discounted gift cards currently available (Limit 3 of each):
- $100 ExxonMobil Gas Gift Card For $92
- $100 76 Gas Gift Card For $95
- $100 Phillips 66 Gas Gift Card For $95
- $100 Speedway Gas Gift Card For $95
- $100 Sunoco Gas Gift Card For $95
- $100 Conoco Gas Gift Card For $95
eBay Bucks Promotion
Many eBay users have received either a 3X or 5X (6% or 10%) eBay Bucks promotion. Since most of these cards can be sold for 88% to 90% of their face value, it is potentially profitable to purchase them to resell when taking into account the eBay Bucks. The ExxonMobil deal is probably the best overall since it is cheaper than the others.
Things to Consider
- Purchases from SVM Gift Cards do not earn 5X Ultimate Rewards with Chase Ink.
- These gift cards can be purchased with eBay gift cards.
- You can check the resell rates of these cards at Gift Card Wiki.
- iConsumer is paying 4% cashback up to $20 per month. The next best options if you are maxed out are Splender & Mr. Rebates at 2%.
Other Cards
There are a few non-gas cards on sale. You can find all discounted gift cards here.

thanks for posting, even as it appears Exxon deal now sold out (this time around). I’ve generally been jaundiced towards reselling giftcards of late, especially given the severe (sic) saturation of the market with the likes of Gap, plus the “power sellers” brutally killing each and every deal.
Yet this deal might might be a winner, and so if it comes around again, a security question: It says,
“Cards will ship via USPS First Class Mail (no tracking number) and you will receive an email notification when your order has shipped.”
Do these cards come with a pin? (and one that’s shipped separately, like the visa gift cards @ Staples) Wondering what happens if you the buyer never receive it? (say, if it’s pilfered from the mail — can thief simply use it and you’re stuck?) Do you the buyer have any protections on this? (that is, if there’s no tracking, and its usps, how will we be able to prove we didn’t receive it?)
Ebates is higher for many categories which change.
Yes and we recommend people always use Cashback Monitor to compare. In this case I am talking specifically about gift cards. Ebates only pays 1% in that category, which is why I mentioned the other portals.
The ebay buck terms on the 5x say it excludes gift cards, do you find that to be true?
Hi Michael. They only exclude eBay gift cards. Other cards should earn the 5X. Here are the relevant terms,
“Qualifying purchase excludes all items in the following categories: Classifieds, Business & Industrial, Real Estate, eBay Gift Cards (within the Gift Cards & Coupons category), Bullion (within the Coins & Paper category), and eBay Motors.”
You’re awesome – I even had a $10 off coupon on my eBay account I didn’t know about so I got one $92 gift card for $82 and $9.20 back in eBay bucks.
Not many exxon or mobile near me. And I loaded up in the past on BP cards and they have rebranded about 4 stores nearest me away from BP.
Might have to sell the BPs.
