Hilton Grand Vacations is currently offering a “Black Friday” vacation package that requires attending a two-hour timeshare presentation. You get 2-4 nights of lodging in one of several specific locations, and 125,000 Hilton Honors points for as low as $199 + tax.
Thanks to Grant over at Travel with Grant for sending this over to us; it has quite a few more available locations than the usual Hilton Grand Vacations offers. This version includes 2-night options for Chicago, NYC, and Washington, DC, as well as 4-night options in Hawai’i (priced at $899-$999).
Nick once did a Bluegreen Vacations timeshare presentation and felt great about it. The presentations themselves are lengthy, but if you’re able to get your “no” face on and can use travel to one of the included locations, this could be a pretty good deal.

Quick Thoughts
Hilton Grand Vacations comes out with variations on this basic offer regularly. This particular one is applicable for many more locations than usual; eighteen in total, including options in Hawai’i, California, Utah, Arizona, and New York City. Depending on when you stay, the cash cost for many of the lodging options would be an excellent deal…and that’s before considering the points.
In exchange for agreeing to attend a 2-hour timeshare presentation, you get 2-4 nights’ lodging and 125,000 Hilton Honors Points for $199-$999+tax (and an additional $19.95 for changes made up to 7 days prior to arrival). You buy the package now and then have 12 months from the date of purchase to use it. Note that the points will not post until after you travel, so you won’t get them instantly.
Our reasonable redemption value for Hilton Honors Points is .41 cents per point, so you’re getting around $500 in value from the points alone. Throw in several nights’ lodging and the deal gets interesting, especially if you already need to travel to one of the included destinations.
Timeshare presentations are notorious for being somewhat exhausting affairs. To prepare, it’s probably helpful to read Stephen Pepper’s Timeshare Presentation Survival Guide: Get your “No” face on.

Always call in and negotiate. for the same price of $229 for DC, I got 140k points, a certificate for a $200 off a future hilton stay, waiver of the high season fee ($149) and an extension until end of April 2027 (17 months from date of purchase) to use it. Booked the dates I wanted (called before purchasing to confirm the dates were available)
Be warned that these are subject to availability! My friend and I got a similar offer two weeks ago on the phone, but it was $500 (still a good deal). We explicitly said we wanted it for Christmas in New York and there was no mention of a possibility of low inventory. After booking, they give you a different number to call to pick your dates, destination and hotel. When we called the latter 10 mins after booking to pick our dates and preferred hotel, they told us they do not have any rooms available through January, despite us seeing rooms available on the website. Essentially, they claimed the inventory for the promotion is a different one. And since it’s non-refundable, we basically have to look for another hotel in NY! So if you’re going to book this, be sure to be flexible with your travel dates. Or at the very least don’t book any flights until you’ve secured your stay.
The link to Nick’s post still goes to Mr. Pepper’s post on his timeshare experience. I think your team meant to list both (since Nick’s name is mentioned/hyperlinked)?
Can You use your AmEx Aspire $200 Resort Credit while staying at one of the “eligible” resorts?
only if its billed directly by the resort. I dont think this offer is.
kind of read your post too quickly. Pretty sure you can’t apply to this offer since the resort isnt billing directly, but can apply to charges during your stay…as long as you use the aspire card for incidentals.
just booked this, thank you so much
Anyone get better offers calling in? Let us know! 🙂
I did several months ago. 4 nights in Maui including Hilton Wialoa for $799. I think it included 15K points, but unlocking a much nicer hotel is much more valuable and more than offsets a difference in points.
are you referring to Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea?
Yes. I reviewed the audio recording I made during the call. The agent said “a property of your choice in Maui” and I expressly asked about the Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea and the representative confirmed that property was available. $799 for 5 days/4 nights + 15,000 Hilton Points.
Got that offer September 15, 2025 when calling in to Hilton. Was then invited to listen to “a special offer” and my wife said yes. I would have hung up, but we listened and I thought it was a really great offer. NOTE: We haven’t stayed there yet so it is possible the agent was completely wrong in what he was telling us, but the agent said he checked with a supervisor and was confident it was available.
So you haven’t booked yet either?
Yes, although I don’t really know what I’m waiting for
if you book now there’s a good chance you can talk them into issuing you bonus points (like 15k or more) on top of the 15k you’re supposed to receive.
i think they have to meet monthly quotas or something like that, because near the end of some months they call me multiple times a day to have me book dates for the package i bought in march. the agents probably get incentives for completing the booking.
please let us know if you were indeed able to book the WA Wailea with this package. thanks in advance!
