Hilton Grand Vacations is currently offering a decent vacation package that requires attending a two-hour timeshare presentation. You get 3 nights of lodging in one of several specific locations plus 75,000 Hilton Honors points for as low as $249 + tax.
Nick once did a Bluegreen Vacations timeshare presentation and felt great about the deal. The presentations itself are lengthy but, if you’re able to get your “no” face on and can use travel to one of the included locations, this could be a pretty good deal.

Quick Thoughts
Hilton Grand Vacations comes out with variations on this basic offer somewhat regularly. This particular one is good for stays in Orlando, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Gaitlinburg or Hilton Head.
In exchange for agreeing to attend a 2-hour timeshare presentation, you get 3 nights lodging (4 in Gatlinburg or Hilton Head) and 75,000 Hilton Honors Points for $249/$299+tax (and an additional $19.95 for changes made up to 30 days prior to arrival). You buy the package now and then have 12 months from the date of purchase to use it, but you can’t check in sooner than 30 days after purchase. Note that the points will not post until after you travel, so you won’t get them instantly.
Our reasonable redemption value for Hilton Honors Points is .48 cents per point, so you’re getting around $370 in value from the points alone. Throw in four nights’ lodging and the deal gets interesting, especially if you need travel to one of the included destinations.
Timeshare presentations are notorious for being somewhat exhausting affairs. To prepare, it’s probably helpful to read Stephen Pepper’s Timeshare Presentation Survival Guide: Get your “No” face on.

Where does it state, “but you can’t check in sooner than 30 days after purchase.”?
I don’t believe it does. I stayed at Hilton about a week or so after buying a package.
So it doesn’t explicitly say, in it it won’t let me book anything before March 5th so I guess it does apply. Maybe I can call and override that?
Can my friend from Canada take advantage of this offer?
Read that paying for the HGV presentation triggers the Hilton Aspire credit? Any DPs?
We did Hilton Hawaiian Village TS presentation for the 3rd time last year. They upped the price to I think $799 for 5 nights, luau tix, some points and $200 Hilton certificate. What always works for me is to call customer support at Hawaiian Airlines (any reason will do) and at the end of the call the CSR will say would you like to earn X of Hawaiian Mileage points for listening to an offer. Say yes and they put you through to the HGV sales guy. And the offer is negotiable. One time my wife got them to throw in 4 luau tix rather than 2 and a one day rental car.
On a whim I decided to take the family to Orlando over Thanksgoving. I know from the past HGV is one of the best ways to do it.
Called HGV and pushed them for the same offer they gave me a couple of years ago for Orlando. Pay $200 + tax, get $200 back after presentation, plus get $200 Hilton On US cert.
I got the package a week before Thankagiving, then called to book. Availability was scarce, but on Tuesday something opened up for check in Thursday. Just had to pay $129 extra to get us into 1bdr suite instead of studio the package included.
Basically negative cost for 3 nights in Orlando.
Bring back the >100K point offers, HGV!! 🙂
Can non US residents buy this?
HGV has been so weak post C19
Miss the days of TS offerings of $999 for 5D/6N in Hawaii – some even included rental and parking. As well as points to sweeten the offer.
Actually took advantage of IHG TS offer for 4/3 plus the $299 cost back. We choose New Orleans as we have never been. Will probably add a night or two with a FNC.
Thanks for the heads up! Just bought the New York City one!
It’s 3 nights in FL and SC and 2 nights in NY, you state – in 1 instance – 4 and 3.
