World of Hyatt has launched a new promotion for cardholders which is offering 11x points on stays at Under Canvas locations. That’s on top of your standard earnings, as well as earnings from paying with a Hyatt card, so you’d earn a minimum of 20.5x on the stay(s).

Key Terms
- To be eligible for this offer, you must be a World of Hyatt Credit Cardholder or World of Hyatt Business Credit Cardholder and register between April 15, 2025 and June 10, 2025 to participate.
- Only Eligible Stays completed after registration and between June 1, 2025 and September 7, 2025 (“Promotion Period”) will be eligible to earn 11 Bonus Points per eligible $1 spent at Under Canvas properties.
- A maximum of 100,000 Bonus Points may be earned under this promotion.
- All points awarded under this promotion are Bonus Points.
- This promotion is in addition to the five (5) Base Points per eligible $1 you can earn as a World of Hyatt member and the four (4) Bonus Points per $1 spent on qualifying purchases when you pay with your World of Hyatt Credit Card.
- For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Stay” is defined as any stay where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award.
- Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion.
- You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of booking your stay to be eligible.
- Please allow 3 to 4 weeks after check-out for Bonus Points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account.

Quick Thoughts
In case you’re not familiar with Under Canvas, it’s a glamping chain that Hyatt started partnering with last year. They have just over a dozen locations in and near many in-demand National Parks like the Grand Canyon in Arizona, Arches, Canyonlands, Zion and Bryce Canyon in Utah, Yosemite and more.
Interestingly, the 11x earnings are on top of the standard earnings of 5x that you get as a World of Hyatt member. This promotion is only available for Hyatt cardholders and if you pay with one of those cards you’ll also earn 4x.
World of Hyatt is therefore marketing this promotion as earning 20x total points on the stay, but in fact it’s ever-so-slightly better than that. Both the personal and business World of Hyatt credit cards come with Discoverist status and one of its benefits is a 10% bonus on base points on paid stays. Seeing as base point earnings are 5x, that means it’s worth an extra 0.5 points per dollar. Provided you pay with your Hyatt card, Under Canvas stays will therefore earn you at least 20.5 points per dollar this summer. If you have Explorist or Globalist status, you’ll earn up to 21x or 21.5x respectively.
That’s a fantastic return on your spend if you’re looking at booking a paid glamping trip from the start of June through the first week of September, but the cost and limited list of locations means it’ll have somewhat niche appeal.
Update: Thanks to Chris in the comments for the reminder that Hyatt is also offering double elite night credits at Under Canvas properties through mid-June. That means these two promos overlap for a couple of weeks at the start of June.
