World of Hyatt has opened registration for its latest promotion, once again called Bonus Journeys. This latest offer gives 2x points on stays at most of their brands and 3x on stays at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties.

To join World of Hyatt and to register for the promotion, visit hyatt.com/bonusjourneys. Only Eligible Stays at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, and the Venetian Resort completed after registration and between January 27, 2025 and March 28, 2025 (“Promotion Period”) will count towards this promotion. - Beginning on your first Eligible Stay after registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive double points per Eligible Stay at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, participating Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, and the Venetian Resort.
- This promotion is not valid at Hyatt Place or Hyatt House hotels.
- For a property to be participating in the promotion, it needs to be participating in World of Hyatt at the time of the member’s reservation and stay.

- Under this promotion, you will receive five (5) Bonus Points per eligible dollar spent on your Eligible Stay.
- A maximum of 20,000 Bonus Points may be earned under this promotion. This is in addition to the five (5) Base Points you would earn as your base earning.
- Triple Points Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Offer:
- Beginning on your first Eligible Stay after registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive triple points per Eligible Stay at participating Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels worldwide.
- For a property to be participating in the promotion, it needs to be participating in World of Hyatt at the time of the member’s reservation and stay.
- All points awarded under this promotion are Bonus Points.
- Under this promotion, you will receive ten (10) Bonus Points per eligible dollar spent on your Eligible Stay.
- A maximum of 10,000 Bonus Points may be earned under this promotion. This is in addition to the five (5) Base Points you would earn as your base earning.
- If a member chooses to earn Bonus Miles, the bonus will be awarded in World of Hyatt Bonus Points.
- For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Stay” is defined as any stay where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award.
- Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion.
- You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of booking.
- Please allow two to three weeks after checkout for Bonus Points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account.
Quick Thoughts
Many of Hyatt’s promotions over the last couple of years have offered bonus points on stays at whichever of its brands they’ve been looking to put in the spotlight at that moment in time. While there’s an element of that with this latest promo, it’s nice that this latest offer awards bonus points on stays at pretty much all their properties.
Earning double points at most Hyatt brands means that those brands will earn a total of 10x points on stays – 5x base points and 5x bonus points from this promotion. If you happen to stay at Hyatt House or Hyatt Place properties, you’ll earn triple points which means you’ll earn 15x on the stay – 5x base points and 10x bonus points per dollar.
That’s before the bonus points earned from having Hyatt status. You can earn 10%, 20% or 30% bonus points depending on if you have Discoverist, Explorist or Globalist respectively. That’s worth an additional 0.5, 1 or 1.5 points per dollar respectively.
For those paying for a Hyatt stay with a Hyatt credit card, you’ll also earn 4x bonus points. That means that a Globalist member paying for a stay at a Hyatt House or Hyatt Place property with their Hyatt card will earn a total of 20.5x World of Hyatt points on the stay which is an excellent earning rate considering how much Hyatt points are worth.
This offer is valid on both paid stays and award stays. If you book an award stay, you won’t earn bonus points on the room rate itself as double or triple points on $0 spend is 0, but if you charge anything to your room such as breakfast, parking, spa treatments, etc., those should get bonused.

No, if there’s a triple points rate that would be in addition to the bonus points you’d earn from this promo. In that scenario, you’d earn a total of 5x (i.e. 25 points per dollar) – 1x base points + 2x bonus points from this promo and 2x bonus points from that triple points room rate offer.
