JetBlue launched a limited time award sale yesterday that’s offering one way fares for as low as 1,900 points. You’ll have to be quick though as reservations have to be made today (March 12).

Quick Thoughts
Being able to book one way flights for fewer than 2,000 points is an excellent deal. That 1,900 redemption rate is available between New York JFK and Washington D.C. or Nashville. JFK has numerous other low redemption options such as 2,100 points to Detroit, Atlanta and West Palm Beach.
There are some very reasonable international redemptions out of JFK too, such as 5,800 points to Aruba, 6,100 points to Bermuda, 4,300 points to Barbados and more.
It’s not only JFK that has good deals and it’s not only economy fares either that are discounted. For example, you can book Mint class one way from Boston to Seattle from 33,500 points.
These low fares could be particularly useful for those of us who managed to jump on the short-lived Capital One transfer bonus promo that offered 5,600 JetBlue TrueBlue points when transferring only 1,000 Capital One miles the other week. If you already happened to have 100 TrueBlue points in your account before that transfer, you’d now have enough points to book one way flights for three people on the 1,900 point redemption routes – not bad for an effective cost of only 1,000 Capital One miles.
