Update: P S commented below to highlight that if you’re originating in Europe and flying round trip to the US, pricing is significantly lower at only $2,700 for two people. That’s a fantastic deal if you can make that work.

I also realized that La Compagnie fares are bookable through Amex Travel. That means that if you have a Business Platinum card, these should be eligible for the 35% points rebate on business class bookings. That would reduce a $2,700 booking for two people to a net cost of fewer than 45,000 Membership Rewards per person each way.

La Compagnie is back with another Valentine’s Day promotion this year. This latest one offers the opportunity to book round trip business class tickets to Paris or Milan for two people for only $4,200, or to Nice for $5,000.

If you’re originating in Europe, you can do even better, with round trip flight prices to the US from only $2,700 per couple.

Quick Thoughts

La Compagnie tends to run sales a few times per year where the round trip cost to Europe is ~$2,000. This latest sale is available for $2,100 per person when flying to and from Paris or Milan, but it does require booking tickets for two people rather than one. That’s still a decent cash price for lie flat, nonstop business class seats to Europe though.

Travel dates vary depending on which city you’re flying to. For Paris and Milan, the promo is valid for various dates through the end of the year. For Nice, it’s valid for various dates from May to September; this is a seasonal route, which is presumably why it’s not valid on flights before May or after September. With all three destinations though, you have to book by Valentine’s Day.

Thankfully La Compagnie makes it easy to identify eligible dates. On the landing page for one of the cities, scroll down and you’ll see a calendar view; any dates in blue have the promo fare available.
