Quick Thoughts

This Macy’s Amex Offer crops up every so often and offers a fairly good discount if you’re looking to make any purchases from Macy’s.

There’s a possible gift card reselling angle with this one too, although that’ll depend on your reselling relationships. The best you might be able to do is break even, but you’ll at least get the points/miles from the purchase.

eGift card purchases have never tracked for me when going through a portal, but it’s always worth giving it a try in case anything has changed in how they’re tracked. Current highest rates are 10% / 7 miles.

I get a lot of these deals to pop up on my cards but they’re mostly for $ off not Membership Rewards. I don’t want $ off. Is there anyway to get Membership Rewards points to come up? Any insight would be appreciated.

JRG

Thanks! Used it this morning, double dipped via a shopping portal also.
