Marriott out with another around of targeted bonus point offers

Marriott is out with another round of targeted promotions that award bonus points after a certain number of stays. I don’t have anything on my account, but Stephen was targeted for an offer that gives him 15,000 bonus points after every five stays. It can be repeated up to three times for a total of 15,000 points.

There are undoubtedly other variations out there. Let us know what, if anything, you find in your account.

The Deal

• Earn bonus points with Marriott on paid stays with a targeted promotion. Example offer:
  • Earn 15,000 extra points on your fifth, tenth, and fifteenth stays — up to 45,000 bonus points
• Direct link to offer – registration page for the offer that Stephen received.
• Direct link to offer – generic Promotions page to see any offers you’re targeted for.

  • Registration must occur within three weeks of receiving this email. Eligible stays must occur within 3 months of the registration date.
  • A “stay” is defined as one or more consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/checkout activity, on any Points-eligible rate (“Qualifying Rate”). Book stays directly through Marriott Channels in order to participate in the Promotion.
  • Bonus Points will be credited to the member’s Account within 2–4 weeks of the qualifying stay.

Quick Thoughts

Earning 15,000 bonus points on five stays would be nice if you were planning any paid stays with Marriott anyway, but it likely won’t make it worth changing existing plans.

Marriott often runs various types of targeted offers at the same time. We’ll sometimes see them offer a free night certificate of some variety after staying once or twice, while other people might earn more bonus points after only one stay. It’s worth checking your Promotions page to see if you’re targeted for a more worthwhile offer.
