Over the past year, Priority Pass has been rapidly adding retaurant dining options to its lounge network, both domestically in the US as well as a few abroad. There are now several new restaurants accepting Priorty Pass: two in Houston at Bush Intercontinental and one at Los Angeles International airport. These will be welcome additions for those travelers looking to cash in on up to $28 per person in free food and drinks thanks to a perk that comes with a number of credit cards.

Quick Thoughts
It’s nice to see Priority Pass continue to expand restaurant options. While some would no doubt prefer a quiet lounge in which to work, I would much rather have a restaurant credit than nothing (which is what there was at many domestic airports/terminals for quite a while). While most domestic lounges have snacks I might eat to hold me over until an actual meal, a $28 credit (per person) to grab a meal saves me real dollars and cents. And sometimes it is particularly handy – a few months ago I ate at Bobby Van’s at JFK and was glad I had when the airline ran out of the only entree I cared to eat.
After a quick glance at the menus, it appears that you should be able to find sustenance at these places with a $28 credit. See the terms of each location in your Priority Pass app (or the Priority Pass links under “The Locations” above) for restrictions on guesting — while your credit card may not limit the number of guests you can bring, the restaurant might.

I was at Houston today and presented my CITI Prestige Priority Pass, the lady said I could only use 2 $28 credits and it didn’t matter if all 4 meals were covered within. I have a family of 4 and I was hoping to use the “unlimited” pass for all 4 or at least 3 since my bill was about $64. I guess it didn’t matter whether I presented the Reserve (max 2) or the Prestige (unlimited). Has anyone experienced the same? Why don’t they differentiate between the programs?

Does the Citi Prestige card include PP? If so do I need to get a separate PP card from Citi?
Yes. Not sure what your second question is. Because different credit cards offer slightly different PP membership, you will need to get the PP card from Citi if you specifically want that kind of PP membership.
As Alex says, you’ll need to get the physical Priority Pass that comes with the Prestige card (that gets mailed to you separately). If you don’t have it, try calling Citi and asking for a replacement I guess. Once you have the physical card / membership number, you can create a way to log in so it can be scanned on your phone in theory…but I just always carry the card in my wallet when I’m going to be flying.
On that note, I have several cards that offer Priority Pass. When the Priority Pass cards come in the mail (both upon opening a new card and upon renewal), I label each one with a Sharpie so I know which one goes with each credit card (as the guesting policy is different depending on which credit card that Priority Pass membership is tied to).
Already used the Priority Pass at the Cadillac bar in Houston yesterday. It was a nice breakfast and a good change from always going to the lounge. If you don’t have much time then the Centurion lounge is a better option
