Quick Thoughts
As always with these Promo Rewards, you’ll want to book sooner rather than later as availability tends to dry up quite quickly. That said, for now there’s some good availability in economy to Europe, such as Seattle to Dublin:
If you’re flexible with your dates and flying out of Dallas, there’s some potentially good premium economy award availability such as these options to Venice:
The landing page for this month’s Promo Rewards list Raleigh/Durham as being discounted by 25% for business class award flights, thereby reducing the cost to 37,500 Flying Blue miles each way. It might just be that I got unlucky when searching for availability last night after this promotion had just started, but I couldn’t find any availability at any price for any cities I searched. Hopefully you’ll have more success by the time you read this post.
Don’t forget that there’s still a 25% transfer bonus to Flying Blue from Chase.

Not unlucky. RDU-CDG hasn’t been bookable with miles ever since the route was announced. The fact that they started a promo rate on it just adds insult to injury. (Plenty of DPs of people trying, including myself)
I’ve had the same problem! Do you have any idea why? And can I ask, where have you seen reports of others trying?
FlyerTalk and OMAAT post about the November promo rewards. Nobody knows why… It’s frustrating.
Called again today. Agent saw availability, tried different things, manual booking, said the problem was “invalid fare” error when trying to price the award.
I have also emailed flyingblue.america@airfrance-klm.com and I am trying to explain that it really, really doesn’t work.
