Starting Sunday, OfficeMax will be offering $15 off when you purchase $250 in Visa gift cards (in-store only). Savings should be applied automatically at the register (you may need to ask the cashier to find and scan a coupon in their book). Limit 2 discounts per customer. It is not limited to 2 gift cards, but to two $15 discounts. Last time there was a similar offer, stores varied as to whether they enforced that limit. Make sure to pay with a card that offers bonus points at office supply stores!
See this post for one idea of what you can do with these gift cards. Remember to buy Visa gift cards not MasterCards!

Is this 2014 or 2015?
Anyone have the scan code? My store cannot find the offer for the $15 off $250 in Visa GC. They only have the $10 off $50 GC
anyone have the scan code?
My store doesn’t have it in the binder!!’
I have already bought $3580 worth of cards and the week is not over.
Didn’t have them in my store. They say they’ve been out for a month.
Worked at my store today.
Grr. Didn’t work at my store.
Yeah! Just went in and worked great!
It’s working now.
Hopefully they get it working today. If anyone has success please post!
Apparently this promo is not scanning correctly.
I went in today and same issue. The manager was great and made some phone calls. He said that it’s a store wide issue and isn’t working for anyone. Hopefully they fix the issue soon!
is this also at office depot? thanks!
No, only OfficeMax
2 X 206.95 and 1 X 105.95 would be the best value for taking advantage of the $30 discount. But if your using a good rewards card like one of the Inks then its worth bumping up to 3 X 206.95
^ largest amount to get to $500 possible.
So what’s the best combination of cards to get in order to maximize discount while minimizing fees?
