I’m wanting to maximize the restaurant bonus on the Flex. Are there any restaurants that sell gift cards for other retailers? I have a cracker barrel that is 30 minutes away and I haven’t gone there in like two decades. I think they used to sell gift cards. Do they still do so? Are there other restaurants or places that code as restaurants? Thank you.
You could use inkind, its not like you could use at any restaurants but restaurants that’s in the inkind network, around your local area. inkind.com, you could get a bonus and discount if buying gift cards too.
Does it mean that Freedom Flex will get 7x on restaurants?
Yes, the 1x base point plus the 2x dining points will stack on the 4x rotating category points for restaurants for 7x total. Likewise 9x for hotels through the chase portal
I couldn’t get the activation link to work for Q2 Dividend. Is it just me or is it Citi?
Do you mean the page isn’t loading, or that when trying to actually register it’s not working? If it’s the former, the registration page is loading for me and so it could be worth trying to open it in incognito mode in case it’s some kind of caching issue.
If it’s the latter, try logging in to your Citi account first and then clicking through in case that helps. Otherwise, I think when looking at your Dividend account when logged in there might be an activation link available there. If none of that works, Citi usually sends an email with one-click registration, so hopefully that would work in the future.
FYI. Even when I am logged in to my Citi account, the activation link only takes me to the Q1 5% bonus offer (which I activated last December). This happens a lot with Citi. I called Citi and the CSR enrolled my Dividend cards in Q2 5% bonus offer. So I’m set.
