A new Chase Offer has appeared on some cards that’s good for 10% back when paying for Best Western stays before the end of the month.

Quick Thoughts

10% off a Best Western stay isn’t enough to make me want to move a reservation to them, especially considering their poor promotion at the moment. If you’re already planning a stay at a Best Western though, this is a nice additional discount that’ll be maxed out when spending $290.

There are a few things to note regarding the terms. For starters, it specifically lists Best Western, Best Western Plus and Best Western Premier hotels; Best Western owns several other brands such as SureStay, Executive Residency, BW Premier Collection, etc., so this Chase Offer is likely only valid when paying for stays at the three brands specifically listed.

You also have to pay for the stay by January 31, 2020. If you have a reservation after that date, it might be possible to contact the property and authorize them to take payment for the stay now, enabling you to take advantage of this discount. It’s also only valid at domestic properties, so it won’t work at overseas Best Westerns unfortunately.

A cheap one night stay might not trigger the offer as you have to spend a minimum of $100 in order to trigger the offer. It’s also only valid for one use, so if you have two or more Best Western stays before January 31, you’ll want to pay for the more expensive one first to earn the most cashback possible.

One of the nice things about Chase Offers and Amex Offers like this is that they stack not only with whatever quarterly promotion a hotel chain might be offering, but also with portal cashback. Here are the current rates for Best Western.
