Quick Thoughts
If you’re planning on booking a paid flight with Alaska or Hawaiian anytime soon, signing up for text alerts in order to save 15% seems like a no brainer seeing as you can immediately stop the alerts as soon as you’ve received the coupon code.
Just be aware that it’s only valid on coach tickets and that you need to enroll by midnight Pacific tonight (August 27). You’ll then receive the code tomorrow.

Yeah, code is generic so deadline to sign up was kind of dumb. Booking deadline on the other hand is restrictive as are travel dates as @whatsthepoints1 says.

Do you know how the code will be delivered (text or email). I’m postponing booking a flight for next week until the code arrives.
I’d assume it’ll be via text as they won’t necessarily be able to match enrollees’ phone numbers with existing accounts.

Why no Prudhoe Bay?
I think generally people traveling to Prudhoe Bay are doing so for work, so Alaska might not feel like they need to offer them a discount seeing as usually it’ll be corporate who pay for the flights.
I think that’s accurate – also ANC-SCC seems to be a weird market, looking at google flights every single day is $449 or $509 one way, through end of schedule, and it looks like they only offer full Y and J fares
