JetBlue has launched a new sale, giving 25% off nonstop base fares when using promo code SAVE25. There is an important thing to note with this sale though which is that using the promo code means your fare won’t be eligible for JetBlue’s 25 For 25 challenge.
The Deal
- Save 25% on JetBlue base fares when using promo code SAVE25.
- Direct link to offer.
Key Terms
- Book by 7/24/25 (11:59PM EST)
- Travel 8/12-11/20/25 (Excludes Friday and Sunday travel)
- Discount applies to base fare on nonstop flights only
- Not valid on Mint, Transatlantic or previous bookings
- Redeemable only on jetblue.com
- Flights booked with this promo code are not eligible for the 25 for 25 Birthday Promotion. Cannot be combined with any other promotion or special offer.
Quick Thoughts
Saving 25% on base fares is a decent offer, especially considering there aren’t extensive blackout dates (other than travel on Friday and Sunday not being eligible). You do have to book by Thursday July 24 though, so you only have a few days in which to make your reservation(s).
Perhaps the most important thing to be aware of is that using the SAVE25 promo code makes your fare ineligible for the 25 For 25 promotion whereby you can earn up to 350,000 bonus TrueBlue points and 25 years of JetBlue status. That’s a shame, but it’s not a huge surprise that they wouldn’t want people to save 25% on up to 25 different flights.
Unlike Southwest fare sales where you also get a corresponding discount on award bookings, with JetBlue the promo code only seems to work on cash bookings, not reservations booked with TrueBlue points.

I feel this makes sense for those on the west coast, to use these as cheap positioning flights to B6 hubs since those hubs will be revisited to hit some of the other airports.
Any sense of how many of your readers are doing the JetBlue 25 promotion? You called it out as most important so it got me curious
at least im since im based in bos
I’m not sure how anyone would have any reasonable idea how many people are doing it. Regardless, when I got the email from the marketing team about this promo, I had completely skimmed past the part saying that flights booked with it — even in Blue fares or higher — won’t count. That’s nuts, in my opinion.
What crazy thing did JetBlue do today? Can’t believe they wouldn’t want to promote stacking both promos to make it easier for people to reach the 25 for 25 promo.
