As I reported last week, Simply Best Coupons has increased the cashback rate on American Express Business gift cards to 2% for today only.
Referral and referral warning
If you haven’t yet registered for Simply Best Coupons, you’ll find a signup link here (along with many other useful links). If you use my link, you’ll get a $5 bonus when you register and I’ll earn a 5% referral bonus each time you earn rewards from this portal, up to a maximum of $50.
Note this warning from the Simply Best Coupons email:
Please note: creating multiple accounts/identities and self-referring in order to get an extra bonus for own orders will get your account blocked and cashback forfeited. Why risk it?
Notes
- Do not use a promo code to reduce gift card fees or for free shipping since that will invalidate your cash back (the Premium Shipping Plan is fine, though).
- Do not buy denominations higher than $2,000 (see: $2K denomination limit on Amex gift card cash back)
Possible Top Cashback Match
In the past Top Cashback has beaten this offer the next day, so stay tuned to Quick Deals for updates.

Pumping SBC with a referral is akin to pushing a crappy CC offer. Why is it that SBC’s 2% exclusives was pumped the last 2 times here but not BF’s 2.25%?
When was the last time they increased? I don’t remember seeing it recently. We post everytime cash back rates go 2% or higher and there is no reason to exclude BeFrugal. If you search BeFrugal then you will see plenty of Quick Deals featuring them.
The last time SBC had and exclusive, TCB and BF offered 2.25% later that week. BF’s 2.25% was not mentioned here. II personally would not refer anyone to SBC as their rates are never as good as other portals unless they have an exclusive, and even then it’s inferior to their competitors when they have an exclusive. TCB and BF have consistently paid out the full rate when they get an exclusive. SBC has not. The only reason to pump SBC would be the $50 referral which as I’ve said is akin to encouraging someone to sign up for a sub-par CC offer when you know better offers will be coming out. The only reason to buy today is if you are dried out of AGC and can not wait. There will likely be better offers coming this week from other portals but why is this not mentioned in the post? It would seem the referral is talking. Just calling it like I see it.
Actually I take that back, you do have a blurb at the end of the post that TCB might be coming out with a better rate. My bad. It is worth pointing out that BF also pays out higher rates and usually within a few days.
I assure you the BF is an oversight and I’ll make sure to keep an eye out for their increased payouts. As you mention, I did put in the Top Cashback mention, since I know a lot of people wait for that. I assure you the aim of these posts is not for referral commission, which is why the links are on a completely separate page.
Thanks for the info on BF and as I said, I’ll keep an eye out for their increased cashback as well.
As a note, I do not believe your statement is quite correct about 2k denominations. Rather, it is, do not buy 3k denomination. Custom orders of 2xxx have received CB and have been confirmed ok.
The language varies by portal, but some people have not received cash back in the past on orders with denominations over $2k. Simply best coupons specifically says $3k, but Top Cashback says, “Please Note: Denominations over $2K are not eligible for cash back.” We put that language to warn people, but feel free to share specific data points with specific portals. Thanks Carl!
I’m really hoping that Top Cashback Offers 2.25% tomorrow. I might be taking a gamble by weight but I would rather the cash back come through Top Cashback than Simply Best. I’ve had good experience with both but have heard sketchy things about Simply Best not being able to follow through with their cash outs.
You can always buy from top cashback now and file a best cashback guarantee claim and they’ll give you the 2%.
