Sixt mydriver is a service offered by Sixt rental cars that offers taxi, limo, and airport transfer services in 250 cities worldwide. They are currently offering a Cyber Weekend Special: Save 30% on all app bookings. I don’t see a landing page (this sale came via email) or full terms, but I assume this is automatic and available on bookings into the future. It might be worth a look if you have airport transfer needs in one of their cities.
The Deal
- Save 30% on all app bookings with Sixt mydriver (taxi alternative, limo, and airport transfer service offered by Sixt)
- Link to download the app for iOS
- Link to download the app for Android
Quick Thoughts
I’ve never used Sixt mydriver, but Greg used it in Florence and he reports having a great experience with the service. I’ve previously been the type of traveler more inclined to either rent a car or take public transportation. However, parking can be prohibitively expensive in some destinations and now that I’m traveling with a baby, I find a private ride from the airport easier than a train or bus. I’ll actually need an airport transfer next weekend, so I’m going to take a look at this and compare against my other options. Keep in mind that the discount only applies to app bookings.
Outrageous pricing where I live. $179 for a 26 mile ride on a Saturday afternoon from Berkeley to SFO. Uber charges about 1/3 of that.
[…] Save 30% on airport transfers, taxi, etc w/ Sixt mydriver app by Frequent Miler. Not a bad deal, just make sure to price compare as always. […]
