Some Alaska lounges re-join Priority Pass

3

Doctor of Credit reports that several Alaska Airlines lounges have re-joined Priority Pass. Alaska lounges have been in and out of Priority Pass over the past couple of years and many limit capacity at busy times, but I imagine the change here is fueled by reduced demand.

One of the lounges coming back is the Alaska lounge at New York JFK Terminal 7, which we enjoyed well enough a couple of years ago.

The following Alaska lounges are back in the Priority Pass program:

  • The Alaska Lounge Anchorage (ANC) South Terminal
  • The Alaska Lounge Los Angeles (LAX) Terminal 6
  • The Alaska Lounge New York (JFK) Terminal 7
  • The Alaska Lounge Portland (PDX) Concourse C
  • The Alaska Lounge Seattle (SEA) North Satellite

Note that you will only be able to access the lounge within 3 hours of your flight, so you won’t be able to camp out at the lounge all day on a long layover. While they may still limit capacity, you can now join a waiting list to get in and that’s a nice change.

better than nothing I reckon. Thanks for the update!

Was at the Alaska Lounge Los Angeles (LAX) Terminal 6. It is definitely not worth the walk from TBIT. Everything shut down due to the virus. Can have a beer and some prepackaged food. Social distancing/masks enforced.

I almost miss being turned away at the Anchorage lounge.
