There is another round of targeted Chase Offers out for Southwest Airlines. The one that I’ve seen offers up to 10% off, with a maximum cash back of $40. This one is a little bizarre in that it only offers 10% off if you the flight that you purchase is in February. Flights for all other months only earn 5% back.
These Southwest offers usually feature multiple permutations that have differing percentages off as well as various amounts of maximum cash back. Let us know if you find a different one.
The Deal
- New targeted Chase Offer for up to 10% back when you spend $50 or more on Southwest Airlines (maximum of $40 back)
- Offer must be added to card before purchase.
- Only flights booked before 2/15 and flown in February get 10% off. All other flights are 5%
Key Terms
- Offer expires 2/15/2025.
- Offer valid one time only.
- 10% reward only valid on purchases flown in February 2025; 5% reward is granted for other qualifying purchase.
- Reward maximum is $40. Payment must be made directly with the merchant.
- Rewards cannot be combined.
- Customer is only eligible for 5% or 10% reward.
- Offer not valid on purchases made using third-party services or a third-party payment account (e.g., buy now pay later).
Quick Thoughts
We’ve seen a few sales over the last year on Southwest gift cards that offered around 10-15% off, but this deal could work out better, especially for those who find it on a Chase Southwest card.
Not only are you not locked into a hard amount, but you can also earn miles on the actual purchase and/or trigger the annual $75 credit on the Southwest Priority Card…all while still getting 10% back. It could also be better for those looking to pay directly with a card that offers travel protections rather than using a gift card to book travel.
It’s important to note that, in order to get 10% off, you must purchase a flight by 2/15 AND fly it within the month of February (although it might work for flights booked for February and then changed to a later date). Flights booked for all other months only earn 5% back.
If you find different offers on your cards than the ones that are mentioned above, leave them in the comments so that we can know what’s out there.

Don’t see this on any of my cards or those of my business or wife unfortunately
What if you book a $400 flight for February, get the $40 statement credit, then later cancel the flight and convert that to future Southwest credits? Seems like that should work….
I do this every time I get this offer.
Did that work for you this time? I usually do the same. Cancel flight for travel credit. But this time the credit never posted.
Yes, wait until the credit posts before canceling the flight…..
