Quick Thoughts
Normally when Southwest runs sales such as these, you only get 2-3 days in which to make your bookings. However, with this latest sale there’s a week-long booking period, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve seen weakened demand with their recent slew of changes and so are trying to boost sales.
Saving up to 30% can still be worthwhile, but be aware that not all routes are eligible for the discount and even if you do find an eligible route, not all flights on that route might receive a discount. Flights that ae eligible will appear in green with a higher price struck through.
The discount is also “up to” 30%, so eligible flights might be discounted by a lower amount than that.
The nice thing is that these types of promo code are valid on both paid and award flights.
You can also reprice any existing flights that you’ve already booked to take advantage of the sale.

Availability seems pretty sparse on the dates I checked.
3 dates between cities where 0 of the ~15 suggested routes had any discounts.
1 date where 1 of the ~15 suggested routes had a discount, the discount was 5%, and it was a 9-hour connecting itinerary when the nonstop is 2 hours.
If this is Southwest’s feeble attempt to get back in our good graces, it’s failed on me. Perhaps it’s their April Fools joke?
I was able to use the code to book flights through early October, even though the promotional window is supposed to end on 8/27.
