Southwest is running a new promotion that’s offering 25% off travel to and from select beach destinations when using promo code BEACHES25. The promo code works on both paid and award fares.
The Deal
- Save 25% when using promo code BEACHES25 to book Southwest flights to/from the following destinations:
- Hawaii
- Mexico
- Caribbean
- Central America
- Valid for travel booked between August 30, 2022 – September 1, 2022 and flown between November 1, 2022 – February 15, 2023
- Promo code is blacked out 11/18-11/29/2022 and 12/16/2022-1/9/2023.

- After selecting your flights, savings are reflected in the base fare when entering the multiuse promotion code BEACHES25 in the Promo Code box on Southwest.com and swabiz.com when booking during the Booking Period.
- Discount is valid on new reservations only.
- Discount will apply only for select flights booked within the Booking Period while supplies last for travel flown within the Travel Period. Changes made to the itinerary after purchase will eliminate qualifications for this promotion and will result in forfeiture of any promotion code savings. The discount is only valid with the provided promotion code and is not combinable with other promotion codes or fares.
Quick Thoughts
Not all destinations are eligible from all US cities served by Southwest. On the landing page, there’s a dropdown box where you can select your city to see the eligible destinations:
There are some good savings available from this promo if you’re interested in traveling to the eligible destinations this Fall/Winter. For example, if flying from Seattle to Honolulu, four of the six available options are on sale for as low as $173 each way.
The promo code also drops the points price from 15,321 Rapid Rewards points to 11,484.
This promotion is valid for flights from November 1 to February 15, 2023, but you have to book by tomorrow (September 1) in order to take advantage of the promo code (and there’s limited discounted inventory available for each city pair). It would be worth booking ASAP if you’re even mildly interested given that Southwest makes it easy to cancel and/or rebook.

Guess their 40% of sale to/from Cali didn’t generate the sales they hoped for. Was able to book roundtrip to OAK then roundtrip OAK-OGG all at 40% off… Much better deal than this. Certainly not a terrible deal but they have, recently, had better

Does not allow me to book LGA-CUN Nov 30-Dec 6. Am I missing something? It should work with the exclusion dates right
What if you already have a ticket booked during those dates. Would i need to cancel my ticket and rebook? When I go to “Change” my flight, there is no option for a Promo code. Thanks.
That’s what I’ve had to do many times in the past(which if you’ve got a companion means canceling their flight first, before yours). It’s easy enough to do but it would be nice to just modify the reservation with better pricing.
