Quick Thoughts
Unfortunately not all routes are eligible even if the places you want to fly are listed above. For example, if you’re flying out of Denver there’s a list of nine eligible destinations, but Kona is the only airport in Hawaii that’s eligible – Lihue, Honolulu, etc. won’t provide any kind of discount.
You could still save a good chunk of change (or points) if you do find participating routes and dates. For example, if flying from Denver to Montego Bay in November you could save up to $74 on paid flights:
As always with Southwest promotions, when a code discounts paid tickets it also discounts award tickets booked with Rapid Rewards points:
If you’re interested in this sale you’ll have to move fast as flights have to be booked by tonight (August 27). Also remember to check any existing bookings you have in case those flights can be repriced at a lower amount by taking advantage of the promo code.
They bumped up the fares to offer 30 percent off. Fares with the discount are higher than what they were yesterday with no discount
This sale was available for the last couple of days, so if you were seeing lower prices yesterday it likely just means that this sale has encouraged people to book in the meantime and so prices have risen accordingly.
