The home-prep meal service Sunbasket is back with another profitable MyPoints offer that, when stacked with a card-linked Chase Offer, gives you 4 meals and a $110 profit after signing-up for the service and getting at least one box delivered within 20 days of sign-up.
While we’ve seen opportunities in the past to stack for cash and miles, this is the most profitable Sunbasket offer this year from a straight cash perspective…and the easiest to trigger as there’s no minimum purchase requirement.

Quick Thoughts
Sunbasket is a meal subscription service that offers a choice between being sent ingredients with which to make meals yourself or having the meals come pre-prepared (so only requiring reheating). My wife and I tried it out recently when Swagbucks was offering $90 cashback with a stackable card-linked offer. We had the ingredients sent and, overall, felt like it was one of the better meal-kit options we’ve tried this year.
The MyPoints deal is worth doing by itself. You only have to receive one order, so you can do as little as 4 meals/week (two meals for two people), receive one box and then get the bonus. The 4 meals will probably end up costing around $25, so you’d be getting $100 and four free meals. Nice haul for 5 minutes of work. Just make sure to postpone all deliveries after the first box (unless you want to receive more boxes, of course) and cancel once the MyPoints have credited. I try to never cancel until AFTER I’ve received the bonus.
If you have the targeted Sunbasket Chase Offer, it’s just icing on the meal-kit. Unlike past card-linked offers, this requires no minimum purchase, it’s a simple $10 back on any Sunbasket order. So, adding the offer to a Chase card and using that card as your payment method brings the total profit to $110, AND you get 4 free meals to boot.
I’ve had luck churning these offers by using different e-mail addresses (but make sure that it matches your MyPoints account e-mail) and/or using P2’s info. YMMV, of course.
This is back on Citi Offers and SimplyMiles
I just did this deal. Super easy! Thanks for the heads up!
How long does it take the points to post on MyPoints? I placed an order earlier today and it’s not showing yet. Just wondering how long I should wait before I contact their support.
Mypoints says mine are pending until Sept. 3. I made my purchase on July 5.
Thanks – did it automatically show up as pending for you, and how long did that take? Still not showing up for me after 9 days, and support hasn’t been responding to any of my messages.
This is the first time I checked Mypoints which shows the points posted (pending) on the day of my order, July 5. Have you confirmed your email with Mypoints? MP is on FB, Instagram and Twitter.I’d contact them there.
I have Ink Cash and Preferred, Freedom, and Sapphire, and I don’t see the offer on any of them. What cards are folks finding this on?
I found the offer on my Freedom Unlimited and Ink Preferred. I did not see it on Sapphire Preferred, Freedom, or Ink Plus.
I have an Amex Offer for $12 off $65, but no Chase offer.
If you spend $65, they will add $10 for shipping, then knock $50 off the total, and you’ll end up paying $25 for the order (I did this myself not 5 minutes ago). Sunbasket actually gives a bigger discount when you order $65 or more. In the image shown above in the post, had the poster added $14 more to his basket to reach $65, the discount would have increased by $15 (to $50 total) and the net price would still be ~$25. So your Amex offer is just as good as the Chase offer and don’t be afraid of the higher minimum requirement. Then, after you get $12 back from Amex, you’ll only pay $13 net for 5-6 meals, whereas the poster paid $16 net for 4 meals. And of course, that is more than offset by the ~$125 in points back from MyPoints, for $112 total cash + 5-6 meals.
I recognize Sunbasket from seeing them constantly on SimplyMiles. Did that offer drop off? Otherwise I would be thinking about a triple-dip here…
That would be a great option! Unfortunately, that Simply Miles offer expired June 30th.
Ok so I just had to go and look. I’m showing one for 1,000 AA Miles on $65+ purchase that expires in August. Sounds like the deal above can be triggered for a lower spend, but if you’re going to spend $65 anyway…
That’s great, I must not be targeted then. In order to stack with the Chase offer, you have to be targeted on a Mastercard, but as long as you are (and you want to spend the $65), it’s a great stack!
Just gave this a shot! Can you skip the subsequent boxes after you place the initial order or do you need to wait until the first box arrives to receive points?
Nope, you can skip them as soon as you’d like…just don’t cancel until after the points have credited.
FYI. I did this then skipped a bunch of weeks and Sun Basket deactivated my account. The 20,000 pending My Points that used to show on my account then disappeared. Will try customer service but doubtful I will get them back.
Could you do a post explaining mypoints and best uses? I couldn’t get much info from their website.
You redeem points for gift cards at various redemption rates. Most people in our space use them to buy PayPal gift cards, which is the way you cash them out (once you deposit a PayPal GC in your account, it functions as cash which can be transferred to any other bank account). The redemption rate is 1.59:1, which is how we arrive at the $125 cash out figure in the post.
It’s worth noting that this is exactly the same way SwagBucks functions (if you’ve ever noticed them being mentioned). SwagBucks cashes out at 1:1, but usually has lower bonuses, so it can vary from deal to deal which is better to use.
Thanks for the info – that helps!
