Chase has announced redemption bonuses on all of the cards that earn Chase Ultimate Rewards for the month of November 2021. Each of the currently-available Chase Ultimate Rewards cards are offering greater value for redemption toward Apple products purchased from the Apple Ultimate Rewards® store and the Chase Freedom family of cards is also offering bonuses on gift card redemptions, shop through Chase, and Pay Yourself Back through a promotion called “Chase Freedom Month of More”.

Quick Thoughts

Apple fans will be glad to see the return of increased value toward Apple products. Sapphire Reserve cardholders can redeem points at a value of 1.5c per point toward things like an iPad or Macbook.

Those with the various Freedom cards also get access to slightly better than 1cpp value, though probably not enough to entice those with the more premium cards to redeem at around 1.1cpp. The addition of wholesale clubs and departments stores for Freedom card Pay Yourself Back through 12/31/21 is perhaps a good option if you’re looking to cash out your points and you are happy with 1.1cpp in value for those things rather than 1cpp in straight cash back.

I still prefer transferring to partners, but it is hard to beat the “joy of free”, which will surely spread to a few more people this holiday season thanks to these redemptions.

Tried to buy Home Depot gift cards…about 5 different times. Keep getting “We’re unable to process your order at this time.” Did 1 x $200, same issue. Did 2 x $200, same issue…
