Both the United and American Airlines shopping portals are out with new spending offers, each offering 500 bonus miles when meeting their respective spending requirements.

Quick Thoughts
The United portal offer will be the easiest one to complete for a couple of reasons. One is that its offer only requires $100 of spend versus the $200 required on the American portal. The other is that the United portal has a card-linked in-store offer program, so you’re not limited to online-only spend.
The American Airlines portal offer might be more appealing for others though, especially those seeking to earn status in the AAdvantage program. Note that you won’t earn 500 Loyalty Points from the 500 bonus miles by hitting the spending threshold, but those 500 bonus miles might make the portal worth choosing over others in the event the standard Loyalty Point earnings would also be decent enough.
This doesn’t have to be an either/or situation though. If you have $300 of eligible spend coming up in the next week or so, you could spend $100 via the United portal and $200 via the American portal to earn 1,000 total bonus miles.
