The United Airlines shopping portal has joined the Southwest and Delta portals in offering bonus miles when shopping via their portal, with this offer giving up to 1,000 bonus MileagePlus miles.

- The United shopping portal is offering the following two-tiered promotion:
- Spend $200 & earn 500 bonus MileagePlus miles
- Spend $400 & earn 1,000 bonus MileagePlus miles

- During the “Summer Bonus” offer, which runs from 6/9/2025 through 6/15/2025 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will earn a one-time bonus of up to 1,000 MileagePlus bonus award miles on qualifying purchases made through the MileagePlus Shopping mall or from purchases made through MileagePlus Shopping in-store offers.
- This one-time bonus award will be based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period using one of the following tiers: Tier 1 bonus: 500 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $200; or Tier 2 bonus: 1,000 miles for qualifying purchases of $400 or more.
- “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles. - Please allow up to 10 weeks after the Bonus Period for bonus award miles to post to your MileagePlus Shopping account.
- The Tier 2 bonus provides the maximum number of miles that will be awarded.
Quick Thoughts
This promo isn’t quite as generous as the Southwest portal offer depending on how you value Rapid Rewards points versus MileagePlus miles. That said, this United portal offer is potentially easier to complete.
That’s because the United shopping portal also has a card-linked offer component that works at certain in-store retailers. Provided you link your credit card(s) here and activate the offer(s), you could hit the spending thresholds without needing to spend a dime online.
