Several airline shopping portals are offering up to 4 miles per dollar for purchases at the Apple store today only (8/7/23). That should stack with current airline shopping portal bonuses to make for a decent return if you’re buying directly from Apple.
The Deal
- The following airline shopping portals are offering up to 4 miles per dollar spent at The Apple Store, today (8/7/23) only:
Key Terms
- Rates valid today only (8/7/23)
- Check terms closely for exclusions. Most portals feature terms like: Rewards not eligible on: Apple Vision Pro, Apple Pro Display XDR, Mac Pro with M2 Ultra, Mac Studio with M2 Max and M2 Ultra, gift wrap, Apple Developer Programs, AppleCare+ monthly subscription, Orders purchased on the Government or Veterans or Education and Military Stores, Shipping, handling and taxes, Purchases made for resale and bulk orders, Gift cards, Gift certificates, Cash equivalents and Purchases made with coupon or discount codes not found on this site. Limits: Eligible only to a customer for up to five (5) units per eligible product, except iPhone, in which case only two (2) units within a thirty-day (30-day) period are eligible.
Quick Thoughts
We have at times seen rates as high as 10 miles per dollar spent, so these payouts aren’t the best we’ve ever seen, even when stacked with the current airline shopping portal bonuses. That said, if you were already considering an Apple purchase, today might be a decent day to do it given the convergence of opportunities.
This article is completely useless for us readers of the Frequent Miler seeing as it was sent out on August8, 2023 and received in the email “In Box” at 5:38 am, yet it provides news of an offer for only August 7th! Somebody is sleeping on the job! Boo
Hi John! It sounds like when you clicked the “subscribe” button at the top of the page and chose which type of email subscription you wanted, you chose “daily”. The description for that email list says:
“Receive one email each morning. This email will include our latest long-form analytic post along with a short preview of all other posts published in the past 24 hours.”
By nature, some of the things published within the previous 24hrs will have ended by the time the next daily email goes out as the hottest deals usually last hours rather than days and there are often situations like this one where a deal is limited to the day we post them and that usually happens after the daily email as already hit your inbox.
If you would like to be on top short-term deals like this, you’ll need to unsubscribe from daily emails (click the “Safely Unsubscribe” button at the bottom of any email you’ve gotten from us) and instead subscribe to the “Instant emails” list. As you’ll see on the “subscribe” page, that email list is described this way:
“Receive our posts by email within ~30 minutes of publication. This subscription is best for those who don’t want to risk missing out on those “hurry before its too late” type of deals.”
As you can see, if you want to know about limited-time deals, the Instant email subscription is the one you want.
We give readers the freedom to choose how much email you’d like to receive — so rest assured that we aren’t sleeping on the job, we’re just empowering you to decide how often you want to hear from us. If you don’t want an email for every post we publish, you could alternatively follow us on Facebook or Twitter (or “X” as it is called now) and enable notifications to receive a phone notification when we post something new. Any way you slice it, you’ll want some sort of instant notification if being alerted to limited-time deals like this one.
Hope that helps clarify so that you can choose the list that’s right for you.
