I’m not positive this is new, but an email from UPromise this morning noted a “new way” to earn cash back with UPromise Offers and this is the first I’ve noticed it. UPromise seems to have a limited number of offers that work similarly to many Swagbucks offers (find these offers here). Some look like surveys, some require opening a bank or brokerage account, and others appear to be triggered by getting a quote, sharing a phone number, or playing a game to a certain level.
These look a bit different than the typical shopping portal offers in that these are set cash back amounts based on specific qualifying activity. For example, the “Savvy” offer appears to only require getting a car insurance quote to earn $13 (though it appears to have some type of requirement to log in to your current insurance company, so I’m not sure I’d complete this one).
Again, some don’t seem to require a purchase. For example, the offer for BPme looks like it gives you $0.50/gal off for your first fill up. The offer page is very light on terms, but it looks like you’ll also earn $3.50 for texting yourself the link and downloading the app.
That might stack nicely with the new Amex Offer out this past week good for $10 back on $20 via the BPme app.
It is possible that these offers have been around for a while and I just missed it, but this is the first I’ve noticed UPromise with many of these rewards. Be sure to check around with other portals as there may be better offers available. Again, here is the page at UPromise with these offers (you have to click “see all” to see more similar offers).
I wish there was another way to get rewards. There is no way I am linking a bank account with them. Would be nice to convert rewards to e-gift cards
Any particular reason? Upromise has been around for a WHILE. Besides just another good excuse to open a disposable bank acct for the bonus and use that. You could even open that chime acct for $150 and just keep that to cash out.
I’ve been a member since 2009 and have never had any problems. I receive an automatic transfer of my earnings to my bank account
