Quick Thoughts
Viator is a popular site for booking tours and activities. I’ve heard mixed reviews: some from folks who have been thrilled with their experiences and values and others who felt their guides were lackluster. I think your experience with random tour guides is likely to vary. At this point, I’ve heard enough good things about Viator to be interested in trying them out at some point. If I do, getting 3,000 Membership Rewards points back will be a nice return. The cash back offer certainly isn’t bad either, but since I value Membership Rewards points greater than $0.01 each, I’ll look to use that one first.
Remember that you should at the very least be able to sync the Membership Rewards version once and the statement credit version once even if you’re unable to sync either to multiple cards (some people occasionally report success with multiple cards still, but I haven’t been successful lately).
As always, we have added this to our database of Current Amex Offers.
