The current best welcome offer for the Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard® is 60,000 bonus points after spending $4,000 in the first 90 days. If you’re potentially interested in this card, keep an eye on your emails because some Virgin Atlantic Flying Club/Virgin Red members are being targeted with an offer awarding 85,000 bonus points after qualifying spend.

This increased welcome offer does require a slightly higher amount of spend than the standard public offer: $5,000 in the first 90 days in order to earn the 85,000 bonus points.
If you’re targeted for this promotion, you have until March 16, 2026 to apply using the link in your email. I’ve taken a look at the URL on the link’s landing page and I can’t see a way to definitely strip it of any tracking link, so unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be a generic landing page for this offer.
Virgin Atlantic is a transfer partner of all the major transferable points currencies, plus there are often transfer bonuses to Virgin. As a result, even an 85K welcome offer isn’t necessarily something to get excited about if staying below 5/24 is important to you.
To determine your 5/24 status, see: Easy Ways to Count Your 5/24 Status. The easiest option is to track all of your cards for free with Travel Freely.
In addition to the 85K bonus points from this increased welcome offer, the Virgin Red card does have some features that have the potential to make being a cardholder even more worthwhile. That includes the ability to earn 25 Tier Points towards status for every $2,500 of spend, a third night free at participating Virgin Hotels once per year, 5,000 bonus points each year when renewing your card, and a bonus when spending $15K or $30K each year to choose one or two respectively of the following: voucher for companion seat or cabin upgrade with Virgin Atlantic, one free night or priority room upgrade with Virgin Hotels, or up to $300 bar tab or Blue Extras Perks Package with Virgin Voyages.

This is Churnable, I got a second bonus. I haven’t figured out how to get the 2nd bonus onto my virgin red account as my VR account is link to the 1st card. I will reply to this comment once i figure it out.
Also to add they give 2,500 per AU up to 4 AUs.
I closed the card after getting SUB in Jan. I go to prequalify for the card. The system knows I already have the previous card and reject it. How did you bypass the logic?
