There are several new Walmart.com Amex Offers out today that offer discounts ranging from 25-33% on various amounts of spend. My wife and I were both targeted on our Amex Platinum cards for 25% on up to $100 in purchases, but I’ve also seen $15 off of $50 (h/t: DOC) and $20 off of $60 (h/t: DDG).
The Deal
- Save 25 percent on up to $100 in purchases at Walmart.com with a targeted Amex Offer.
- Other variations exist, including $15 off of $50 and $20 off of $60.
- These is a targeted offers. Look for it under “Amex Offers” in your account online.

Quick Thoughts
Based on the data points that I’m seeing, this appears to be a widely-targeted offer. My wife and I each had it, but it only showed up on our personal Platinum cards. It’s worth checking all your cards though as you might have it on other types of cards.
This is an easy one to take advantage of even though it’s only valid online. There’s not a ton of excluded products and you can reach the $25 max cash back in multiple transactions with no minimum purchase required.

Lots of variations. Most of my family got only 10% off of $100, but I got $15 off $50, that I can use twice.
10% off is obviously barely worth the trouble. I have been using some previous discounted Walmart money to buy Sam’s Club gas, but I’d note that I recently used my Wyndham Earner Business card at a Sam’s Club pump with the Walmart app, and got the 8% gas bonus back. So, obviously, 10% off for that isn’t worth much if anything.
