World of Hyatt is offering 3x points on Homes & Hideaways stays when you complete your stay between August 21 and November 3, 2024. That could make for a decent return if you’re looking for a vacation rental and find the right deal through Hyatt’s Homes & Hideaways.

Quick Thoughts
World of Hyatt members usually earn 5 base points per dollar spent on Homes & Hideaways bookings plus any elite status bonuses. This promotion adds another 10 bonus points per dollar spent (note that you don’t earn elite status bonuses on bonus points), so you’ll earn 15 points per dollar spent plus any elite status bonus percentage of the 5 base points. In other words, a top-tier Hyatt Globalist will earn 16.5 points per dollar spent on Homes & Hideaways bookings.
That could certainly be an excellent return on a vacation rental. Keep in mind that it’s always worth shopping around since I often notice vacation rentals cross-listed across platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo and pricing may differ (not sure if that applies to Homes & Hideaways properties). Keep in mind that you also earn elite night credits for nights at HOmes & Hideaways.
The return here isn’t enough to make me seek out an opportunity to take advantage of the promotion, but if I were looking for a vacation rental I’d certainly be taking a look to see if a Hyatt Homes & Hideaways property fits the bill.
