Wyndham Rewards launched a new promotion last week that has the potential to be pretty rewarding. You’ll earn 7,500-15,000 bonus points when staying 2-4+ consecutive nights, as well as an additional 7,500 bonus points as a Wyndham credit cardholder if you pay for your stay with that card.
The Deal
- Wyndham Rewards is offering bonus points on the following types of stays:
- 2 consecutive nights = 7,500 bonus points
- 3 consecutive nights = 12,500 bonus points
- 4+ consecutive nights = 15,000 bonus points
- Cardholders will also earn 7,500 bonus points per eligible stay of 2+ consecutive nights

Key Terms
- Wyndham Rewards Members must:
- (a) first register for the Offer by completing the registration process on wyndhamhotels.com/wyndham-rewards, wyndhamhotels.com or any of the official brand websites of any participating Hotel Chain, or through the “My Promotions” section of their Wyndham Rewards Member account on wyndhamhotels.com/wyndham-rewards or the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts App, in each case, during the period that begins on June 3, 2025 and runs though and includes August 30, 2025 (any Member who registers in accordance with the foregoing requirements will occasionally be referred to in these Offer Terms as a “Registered Member”); then
- (b) after registering but no later than August 30, 2025, book a Qualified Stay that meets the applicable length of stay minimum described below at a Participating Hotel on any Direct Booking Channel (as defined below), and complete such stay by September 3, 2025 (the requirements set forth in this clause (b), collectively, the “Booking & Stay Requirements”).
- For purposes of these Offer Terms, “Direct Booking Channel” means:
- (i) www.wyndhamhotels.com/wyndham-rewards, wyndhamhotels.com or any of the official brand websites of the Hotel Chains;
- (ii) the official toll-free reservation number of Wyndham Rewards or any of the Hotel Chains;
- (iii) onsite at a participating hotel, directly with such property; or
- (iv) on the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts App.
- Offer not valid at hotels in China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan).
- Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in these Offer Terms, each Registered Member who is not an Eligible Cardmember may earn a maximum of 15,000 Wyndham Rewards bonus points, and each Registered Member who is an Eligible Cardmember may earn a maximum of 22,500 Wyndham Rewards bonus points pursuant to this Offer, regardless of how many stays or nights such Member consumes in accordance with the Booking & Stay Requirements. This means that if a Registered Member completes more than one stay in accordance with the Booking & Stay requirements, the Promotion Bonus associated with the second stay will be an amount equal to 15,000 less the applicable number of bonus points awardable for the first stay, and no bonus points will be awardable for any stays subsequent to the second stay.
- Qualified Stays are subject to certain restrictions and do not include third party online bookings or free or discounted nights obtained with points; see the Program Terms for more information about Qualified Stays.
- The Promotion Bonus will usually be posted to an eligible Member’s account within two to four weeks following the completion of the applicable stay, and an Additional Bonus will usually be posted to the applicable Member account within six to eight weeks following the completion of the applicable stay.
Quick Thoughts
This is a fairly generous promotion because if you’re a Wyndham cardholder, you can earn 22,500 bonus points by booking two sets of two consecutive nights stays, or one four night consecutive stay (or a three night plus two or more night stay, etc.) With Wyndham redemptions starting at 7,500 points, that could get you three free nights in the future. even before taking into account the 10% discount/rebate you get as a Wyndham cardholder.
That said, properties that charge 7,500 points are often better booked with cash. For example, we stayed at a Days Inn last week which only costs 7,500 points if booked as an award night. However, I was able to get a rate of less than $50 for the night including tax by booking a BenefitHub rate. That would’ve been a 0.65 cents per point redemption value which is poor for Wyndham. Don’t automatically ignore 7,500 points redemptions though as there are some exceptions to the rule *cough*100K Vacay*cough*
Something important to be aware of with this promotion is that the nights have to be consecutive, not cumulative. Booking two or more stays that only last one night will therefore earn you zero bonus points. That’s a little frustrating if you’re going on a road trip and just want to book a cheap one night stay on the way out and back where you don’t care so much about the quality of the property. If you find yourself in that position, you might do better with the latest Choice Hotels promo.

I posted my travails in a previous Wyndham deal, but it took me multiple hours, a half-dozen emails, and three phone calls to finally get the additional points for being a cardholder, and they had to be applied manually, and only after 60 days. The standard bonus points posted automatically. And in a similar thread, others mentioned having issues with Wyndham promotions in the past. I’d keep that in mind when deciding whether to pursue this (and how hard to pursue getting credited if it doesn’t work automatically).
I read the terms and conditions, but unless I missed it, I didn’t see if a stay booked with Wyndham points counts. We have 2 nights booked on points at the Howard Johnson across the street from Disneyland and trying to figure out if its worth cancelling and rebooking
It’s only valid on paid stays I’m afraid. It’s listed in the more detailed terms on the registration page, so I’ve added that section to the post above.
Had a feeling that was the case. Thank you!
I assume Vacasa doesn’t count towards this?
Unfortunately not – there’s no link to Wyndham on paid Vacasa stays
