I am the key audience.
I live 30 minutes from Disneyland, and have paid for annual passes since 1992.
The Disney cards are ONLY worth it if you go to a Disney park several times a year, period!
You are correct, If you get this card ONLY use it for Disney expenses. It only has value if you live near a Disney park and go regularly. I have the standard $49 base card and it is only in my wallet when I go to the park. I am going to spend money for gifts, food, passes, preferred parking, etc. and believe it or not the rewards add up. We had over $2000 to use on a trip to Disney World which paid for food and other expenses.
It is an decent card but only for Disney, and only if you are going to go to a Disney Park 10 times a year. otherwise pass
