There is a new Amex Offer out today good for AT&T Business: get 10% back as a statement credit up to $100. Note that I saw a different version reported elsewhere that only offered up to $50 back, so it is possible that there are different targeted versions. I found this offer on a Business Platinum card, so it is possible that this would stack with the monthly $20 wireless services credits coming this year due to the COVID enhancements.

Quick Thoughts

The offer seems to exclude DirecTV, AT&T TV, personal wireless, Internet Bills, and basically everything that isn’t AT&T Business. I believe that past similar offers worked on personal wireless bills for a couple of years, but if I remember correctly they may have stopped working for personal bills. If you try using your card to pay a personal bill, report your experiences in the comments.

The good news is that I expect this would likely stack with the $20 monthly statement credits if you add the offer on the Business Platinum card. On the other hand, Amex has gotten kind of clawback-happy and doesn’t seem to like it if you come out at negative cost from the two rebates. I’d recommend spending more than $22 at a time if you’re looking to stack those (which you probably would if you wan to max this offer out anyway).

paying off installment plan trigger the offer without issue.

[…] 10% back at AT&T Business: This one isn’t supposed to work on consumer plans, but I wouldn’t fight it if credited 10% back anyway for paying my AT&T phone bill. […]

I did the same as Pam and also triggered the amex email. I will report back once I see the statement credit as well.

I made a $5 pmt on my personal cell biz with my Bonvoy Biz offer, & it triggered the email AMEX Offers sends out “You just redeemed your Amex Offer for AT&T Business.” Will get back if the statement credit goes thru.

Successfully made a $10 payment that triggered the “Great news!” AMEX email. Logged into personal account via  att.com/exploresmallbusiness  but not sure that matters.

My offer was 10% back up to $50 on both BBP and Biz Plat, so I loaded it to the Biz Plat. Good idea to charge at least $22 / month to the Biz Plat to stack both deals 🙂
