Quick Thoughts
These can be solid deals if you need to pick up a gift card, whether for holiday giving or personal use.
One consideration with airline gift cards is that you’ll be sacrificing both elevated rewards if you’d have used a credit card that earns a category bonus on airfare and potentially on credit card travel protections, which may not cover you or may offer different coverage if you’re paying part of the fare with gift cards. It can still be worth it, but you have to do your own math.
