Quick Thoughts
If you have a booking to make, it’s worth comparing rates today to see what you can get. In addition to 10% back on Ebates hotels bookings, you can get 10% back from HotelStorm and Marriott. Keep a close eye on the terms — for instance, Marriott cash back excludes government and corporate rates and based on the terms I expect it also excludes rates like AAA, so whether or not it is a deal depends on what other discounts you may have available.
This certainly could be useful if you have bookings to make, though it doesn’t compare to yesterday’s deal through Avianca. If you didn’t make a booking through that promotion, this could be worth a look.

I feel like this pops up every Thursday. If not every Thursday, very frequently on Thursdays. I have a few future reservations at Marriott booked using ebates that I booked on a 10% cashback Thursday a while back.
Not work for SPG hotels booked in Marriott.com
i was checking and comparing the rates- the rates have been inflated by 15%
Do we know if status will be recognized on these bookings?
I assume status will not be recognized if you book through Ebates Hotels or Hotelstorm or any other 3rd party. If you book directly through Marriott, I expect you’ll get the 10% back and since you’re booking directly you should get all benefits.
It said because of your status, you can get late check out and gave the options for that, so I’m thinking you are correct. I did have to make two separate reservations to use two SPG Lux credits, as I could not split tender on a single reservation but it definitely looks good as concerns the elite benefit recognition. I’ll try to report back after our stay. Also. I did not notice the increased prices referenced below, but maybe that’s because I booked an SPG hotel – who knows?
