Sears Gift Card reload generated cash back. Also worth mentioning is 20% cash back on 1800Flowers.
Thanks!
What is the best way to get rid of 40, $100 gc to staples that were purchased thinking they were visa?
Thank you
I hope you’re joking? Unfortunately, Staples no longer allows buying gift cards with gift cards. If you’re really stuck with that many gift cards, try calling to see if you can get a refund. If that doesn’t work, your next best bet is to look for great Staples deals to buy things that can be easily resold. That’s not going to be easy, but it is possible.
Most portals got rid of GC cashback back in May
Specifically, Staples stopped paying portals for gift card orders and so the portals stopped paying their customers.
Do you think this would work for gc purchases?
It won’t work for Staples, but may work with some of the others. Should work with Sears, for example
Do you know if it’ll work for a partial payment of total with a staples gift card? (it would be $30 staples GC, $100 Amex EveryDay Pref (to get $15 back))? Would the 10% cash back be allowed on the Amex credit card purchased? Or because a staples GC was used, the whole transaction may be denied the cash back? Thanks a bunch!
Sorry I didn’t answer this earlier. It should work on the entire order as long as you’re not buying gift cards
