While not a huge savings, every little bit adds up. If you happen to have a Walmart credit card, you can get a further 3% back for a purchase on Walmart.com. Reports in our Laboratory indicate that going through a portal likely won’t earn rewards (but you can always give it a shot). Remember that Uber is one of the partners with which you can earn Starpoints, albeit at a lower rate than in the past (all members earn 2 Starpoints per $1 spent with Uber during your SPG hotel stays and 1 Starpoint per $2 spent all other days). A few reports at Doctor of Credit indicate cancelled orders on these Uber gift cards. While I haven’t had trouble with Walmart cancelling orders in several years, I did not buy these gift cards. Keep an eye on your email if you order.

Can you use Sam’s Club gift card to buy these?
I don’t see why not. I’ve never tried to use a Sam’s Club gift card on the Walmart website. I know they work in-store. Let us know if you use it and it works.
