There is a new in-branch offer available on the Chase Ink Business Preferred card that yields up to 160,000 Ultimate Rewards points when you can meet minimum spend requirements. You’ll likely need to apply through a business relationship manager, but if you can meet the spend on this offer, it would probably be worth a trip to the local branch (or at least a phone call to inquire as to its availability at your branch).
The Offer
- There is a new in-branch offer at Chase Bank branches for the Chase Ink Business Preferred Card. This offer has two spending tiers to trigger a total of 160,000 bonus points:
- Spend $15K in the first 3 months, get 100K points (matches the current public offer)
- Spend a total of $50K in the first 6 months, get 60K additional points
- Total = 160K bonus points after $50K total spend
- Note: This offer is only available in-branch and likely requires applying through a business relationship manager.

Quick Thoughts
This offer is essentially the standard public offer matched with an additional offer for more spend. The standard offer yields 100,000 bonus points after $15K in purchases in the first 3 months. This offer adds an additional 60,000 points after $50,000 spend in the first 6 months. While that isn’t a huge return on spend compared to the multiple welcome bonuses that could otherwise be triggered with that amount, it represents a great deal on that spend if it is not otherwise diverting your ability to meet minimum spend requirements and/or you don’t want to deal with multiple cards. I imagine that most who would spend $50K within 6 months can easily meet minimum spending requirements on as many cards as they care to spend already.
That said, I’m not wildly enthusiastic with this offer because if you are will to open two cards, you would be better off opening both a Chase Ink Cash and Chase Ink Unlimited card. Each of those cards currently offers 75K points after $7.5K in purchases in the first 3 months. Picking up both of those cards and spending a combined total of $15K would therefore yield 150,000 bonus points — almost the same return with $35K less spend. Of course, if you’ve already done that and are just looking to add to your Ultimate Rewards pile, this offer would be a good way to do that quickly.

Is the 5/24 rule is observed with an in-branch offer?
I suspect it is…
Yes it is. Not going to get around that.
Applied for the Unlimited last night and got denied outright. Pretty bummed out about it.
